Hopefully I got the right account...I was linked (okay, so I copy and pasted) from the Animania forums about a certain Kingdom Hearts/Organisation XIII photo shoot with a date yet to be determined.
Anyway, I'm Sporked on the forums.
So, as fellow photographers for the shoot, I was wondering if you were wanting to come with me when I go scouting for locations (I plan to go soon, because of work with TAFE will get hectic after the first month) and to brain storm some ideas to shoot together.
I've definately decided to go after SMASH! so, if you're attending, maybe we could meet up then and work things out from there?

I decided not to go to SMASH since I've got HSC trials on in two weeks and SMASH is on the day before! My Trials start on the 10th and I first get off on the 21st of August, but I have some free days in between so we'll just try to figure something out.
I think it'd be great to scout, so lead on and we'll find a time and place! Just out of curiosity though, was it Katie who linked you to me?

Well, I'm easy and I can work around your schedule, though I wouldn't be able to do saturdays indefinately.
I'm in the city for TAFE all day on monday, tuesday and then wednesday morning, so I can always just miss a day if one of those days afore mentioned works best for you
Curiousity shall be satisfied. I actually saw your username in the list for photographers and I'm like "ooo, a fellow guru to muse with and plan and scheme"...so I copied and pasted and voila!
I was thinking, that we keep it CBD based, because it'll be a long trip for some of the people (like me for instance)...there was talk about a second photoshoot at the beach, but yeah, we can figure out locations and a route or something on the scouting day.

Hmm, Can you post me the link to that part of the forum? It'd be great just to know what's going on and stuff! I don't even know when the actual photoshoot is, I just know it's to be.
I must admit I'm also one of those people who live quite far away from Sydney more than an hour away) and I actually only know the area between the bridge, the National Art Gallery and the QVB. Is that the area you were thinking of?
I was also going to ask you what kind of environment you want to take the shots in (it'll probably help us decide somme locations before we go scouting). Hyde Park and the Botanical gardens could be good and there are actually some pretty good looking alley-ways in Sydney which are excellent for darker themed shots (that just sound so wrong and creepy, but it's true) and even the Sydney Opera House could be a good spot. Any ideas?
How about we do it some time after the 21st? I just remember doing the trials and how relieving it was after they were finished (of course, it majorly helped that Animania was a few weeks after they finished)

Ooo, whereabouts do you live? If you don't mind me asking...I may or may not be hoping that you are on the Newcastle line so we can train together XD
I definately want to go to Town Hall and get a group shot of everyone involved out the front and then group shots of the characters. I also definately want to go to the domain and do some optical illusion things (make certain people uber small and do eval things to them XD )...there's the option of Luna Park, as well.
Sydney Opera House. I want to do a Axel, Reno and Roxas thing where Roxas is running away and the other two are chasing him...preferrably down the steps of the Opera House and other variants...yeah, I'm a sucker for that threesome pairing.
Are you referring to the Rocks...about the alleyways and such? There's a cool open house there, we could do something there and there's Observatory Hill as well.
~imahokage suggested the Chinese Gardens, so if we were all agreed on that we could go there and go to Tumbalong Park and muck around in Darling Harbour...cause havoc in China Town...those are just preliminary thoughts off the top of my head, I'm actually going to start writing them down soon...so I'll eventually put into word and send it to you
I know the area around Central and Chinatown, on account of going to TAFE there, lulz.
Are you gonna cosplay during the photoshoot or am I gonna be the nerd out of us photographers?
